Totem State Of Mind
Have you ever had a hankering to paint a totem pole? Me neither, until today. I am thinking ahead to our spring Alaska cruise-workshop.
Above is a watercolor totem in progress.
When a painting nears completion, I will usually set it aside for awhile to reassess. Sometimes there gets to be quite a number of them.

What, Me Worry?
My online streaming video lessons are beginning to takeoff via Skillshare, Udemy, and Teachable — ushering in the end of the DVD/Blu-ray era (and before that, the clunky VHS tape era). Watercolor Workshop Season 2019
Marlene and I just completed our third and final watercolor workshop of 2019. These keep us quite busy in the spring (and out of the pool halls and saloons).
This is my view from the demo table. We have the good fortune of working with people who enjoy the challenge of this art medium. Watercolor painting, after all, is not for the squeamish — ya gotta love it!
It was fun, but I now look forward to a summer of writing and fishing (not necessarily in that order).
