FREQUENTLY  ASKED  PAINTING  QUESTIONS

7.  Why doesn't my local PBS station carry your program?

Sadly, a few PBS stations have the opinion that they do not have a significant "how to paint" audience, so they do not program "how to paint" shows.  Of course, you and I know that this could not possibly be!  But, all PBS stations tend to be sensitive to the requests of their audience.  So, if you want my series shown on your PBS station, please ask for it.

Here is the link to find your station's email address and phone number:  PBS Station Finder

Other PBS stations intend to carry the series, but just haven't scheduled it, yet.  PBS program directors are very busy people.  For these stations, a little nudge from their audience might be helpful, too.  If you want it, let them know.  Because if you want it, they want to know.  Really.  They are far more sensitive to your wants (their audience), then mine.

All-in-all our national PBS coverage is very good for a new series.  And, it continues to expand to new PBS stations every month.  So, even if your local PBS station has always carried my series, from the beginning, its a good idea to let them know that you watch it (that's if you do, of course).

As long as there is an audience, I'll continue to produce these watercolor programs.  And, as long as PBS stations know that they have an audience, they will continue to air them.
